We do not collect your name unless you type it, your contacts, your exact GPS, or your bank/UPI PIN — ever.
2. Consent — you decide · सहमति — आप तय करते हैं
Every sensitive data type — Health, Financial, Legal, Vehicle, and Cross-Chitti sharing — is OFF by default. A Chitti checks your consent before it ever touches that data. You can turn any of these ON or OFF at any time, and turning one OFF stops all future use of that data.

3. How long we keep it · कितने समय तक
- On-device data stays until you clear it or tap “Chitti forget”.
- Server records (only what you consented to) are kept in India only and removed within 24 hours of a forget request.
- Raw images (e.g. a medicine strip or document) are processed and then deleted — not stored long-term.
4. Your rights under DPDP 2023 · आपके अधिकार
- Access — see what data is held about you.
- Correct — fix anything that is wrong.
- Erase — delete all your data (see “Chitti forget” below).
- Withdraw consent — turn any data type OFF at any time.
- Grievance — complain to our Grievance Officer (below).
5. “Chitti forget” — erase everything · सब कुछ मिटाएँ
Say or type “Chitti forget” (or “Chitti sab bhool ja”) to Chitti Vaani. Within 24 hours:
- All your personal data — profile, consents, health/financial/legal/vehicle data, learning history — is permanently deleted.
- A blank tombstone record is kept (no personal data) only so our totals stay honest.
- You can start fresh anytime — onboarding will run again.
