Chitti reads suspicious payment text and grades the fraud risk: HIGH (red), MEDIUM (orange), or LOW (green). Chitti is not a payment processor and cannot block any payment. The decision is always yours.
2Legal compliance
Chitti follows RBI Master Directions on Digital Payments, the DPDP Act 2023, and IT Rules 2021. Chitti does not ask for your UPI ID, PIN, OTP, account number, or card details — and never will. If you are asked for any of these on this page, close it immediately.
3Permissions required
None. Chitti UPI Guard runs entirely on text you paste in. There is no microphone, camera, contacts, or SMS read here.
4Data privacy
The text you paste is sent to Chitti's AI for risk classification and is not stored on our servers. Your check history lives only in your browser (localStorage). Clear it any time.
5Emergency & liability
Already lost money or shared OTP? Call 1930 or report at cybercrime.gov.in within 1 hour for a chance at recovery. Chitti makes no guarantee that fraud will be prevented; the AI may sometimes misclassify. Always verify with the merchant on a number you already trust.
